Look for Academic Bowl Team Try-out Information August 22! Save the Date for the 3rd Annual Cheetah Cup Math Tournament: April 21, 2012
The award-winning Academic Bowl Team competes in cross-curricular events against other elementary and middle school level teams. If you are interested in challenging yourself, and are willing to commit to a year-long activity, please plan to attend team tryouts (date to be determined). Tryouts will consist of a 50 question academic quiz bowl. The top 15 scorers will make the team.
Practices will be held on Wednesday afternoons from 2:30-3:35 or 2:30-4:15 when needed. Practices and competitions will begin in mid-September and run through the end of the school year. See the calendar for our tentative schedule. Team members are expected to attend all practices and participate in all competitions. We win, or lose, as a team, so every member is important.
Calendar is tentative as of 8/1/10. Practices are from 2:30-3:35. Extended Practices are from 2:30-4:15.
